Follow The Greenway

We are proud to be home to a 16km Greenway from Listowel to Abbeyfeale.

This 16-kilometre off-road trail runs along the old railway line from Abbeyfeale to Listowel and can be enjoyed by cyclists, walkers, runners, families and wheelchair users alike.

Joining the 40km long Limerick Greenway at Abbeyfeale, you will traverse woodlands, farmland and riverside terrain on route to the beautiful heritage town of Listowel. 

Safe and traffic-free, the greenway affords you the opportunity to increase your levels of physical activity and enhance your overall health and wellbeing, in a fun and enjoyable manner.

After a delightful day out cycling, why not stop by Thyme Out Café where we have bike stands and bathroom facilities.

No trip to the Listowel Greenway would be complete without a visit to Thyme Out Café. Sit back, relax and enjoy a Java coffee and a freshly prepared sandwich or a dessert from our menu.
